waterfalls walk saturday 26th september Our Sydney Social Club subcribers and members are invited to join our guided Valley of the Waters walk. One of our most popular walks and one of the most beautiful walks that the Blue Mountains has to offer. Unknown to many Sydneysiders this hidden gem is a place with magnificent waterfalls, dramatic rocky escarpments and spectacular scenery. Soak up the atmosphere as you jump across stepping stones to cross creeks on your way to the Wentworth Pass track and stand in awe at the top of the falls taking in magnificent views of the falls and mountain scenery. upcoming walks: 3 day six foot track walk friday 25th to sunday 27th september Join us on a guided walk of the famous Six Foot Track from the Blue Mountains to Jenolan Caves. Winding through State forests and national parks, the track follows the 45 kilometre route of the original 1884 horse track from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves. Crossing mountain ranges and falling into deep valleys, the track features sheer sandstone cliffs, waterfalls and panoramas of richly-forested valleys. We'll overnight in an Eco-Lodge next to the picturesque Cox's River on night one and camp under the stars on night two where we'll enjoy a glass of wine or beer, a delicious dinner, and campsite sing-along. Time is available at the end of the walk to explore the magnificent Jenolan Caves before we catch the bus back to start of the walk. Limited places available. On this magnificent walk you'll discover a series of beautiful secluded worlds through the Upper Grose Valley, starting with the dramatic Grand Canyon and culminating in the serene Blue Gum Forest. The panorama at the end of Govetts Leap Road is one of the most breathtaking in the Blue Mountains - a of greenery stretching to the horizon, constrained by sheer cliffs of rippling sandstone.
